The LSA Law օffice scored another victory! The criminal prosecution initiated against F.G., an Iranian citizen and a client of attorneys Arsen Sardaryan and Edgar Ayvazyan, for attempting an illegal border crossing and using forged documents, has been terminated because the said crime was not committed by him.
We express our gratitude to the investigating officer and the supervising prosecutor for taking into account the defense arguments and making an objective decision.
Let us recall that in this case, the prosecuting authority had previously petitioned for the arrest of F.G. as a preventive measure, but Judge Martin Arzumanyan granted the motion of the defense attorneys and instead placed F.G. under administrative supervision instead of custody. Thus, thanks to the objective and humane decision of Judge Martin Arzumanyan, an innocent person was not subjected to detention.
