Our client A.A., accused of murder under aggravating circumstances, was released from custody by decision of the court of first instance of general jurisdiction of the Kotayk region of the Republic of Armenia, and the preventive measure chosen against him in the form of detention was replaced by house arrest.
It is positive that, albeit at a slow pace, the most important approach is penetrating into the culture of the judicial and legal system that the severity of the incriminated act in itself is not an obstacle to keeping a person at large at the stage of exercising the right to judicial protection.
